Singing like bird! Our vocal classes are designed for students of all ages who enjoy singing and wish to improve their vocal technique. As the only first-person instrument in the arts, our approach to voice tuition is geared towards the individual, as every voice is unique.
Guitar Learn chords, simple strums, and tuning in our personal classes. Students will be introduced to the basic elements of rhythm and harmony that will have them making music in a short time. Furthermore, we will have great opportunities to participate in rehearsals and recitals inside and outside of our school.
Piano Private piano classes are offered for ages 3 to adult, for beginners, or students who wish to expand their existing skills. Lessons normally cover technique, music-reading, rhythm, dexterity, ear training, and repertoire. Students have performance opportunities - solos or ensembles - in recitals inside or outside the school. We offer both traditional style and Suzuki Method instruction, which creates a flexible program geared toward students' specific needs.
Violin One-on-one study time for personalized instruction for ages 5 to adult. A combination of Suzuki Method and traditional method is used so that students have the most balanced development. The Suzuki books are the main repertoire in addition to etude books, scales, and technique books to learn note reading, rhythm, and violinist technique.
Flute One-on-one classes to focus on each student's specific needs for children and adults. The students will learn fundamental techniques in flute playing like embouchure, tonguing basics, and finger position; music rudiments and musical terms; and musical phrasing and expression. In the process of studying flute, students will also learn proper breath control and music reading.
Ukulele Want an easy, portable instrument? Want to play along with your favorite songs or to accompany your friends? By learning basic chords, rhythm, and strumming patterns, students will make music in a short time.
